Support at Morris Bye - Title I information
The following information is a jointly developed agreement that explains how family members and teachers will work together to make sure all of our students get the support they need to reach and exceed grade level standards. The families and staff at Morris Bye Elementary annually discuss, review, and revise this information. Your student’s needs, progress, and achievements will be shared at fall and winter conferences. For more information about this agreement, contact your student’s teacher.

Title I School Improvement Strategies
Morris Bye Elementary is committed to providing an atmosphere of learning for all students. We will focus on the following this year:

• Student achievement in reading (MTSS)
• Student achievement in mathematics (MTSS)
• Social Emotional Learning: Leader in Me
• Student Engagement: Catalyst
Progress on these school efforts will be reported to families during conferences, school events, and our monthly PAW Print new newsletters.

School Supports for Success
(In the Classroom)
We will:
- Focus on essential learning through the use of data from common formative assessments
- Use a collaborative approach toward meeting the needs of all students
- Provide math and reading interventions
- Make data driven decisions based on current assessments

School Supports for Success
(At Home)
You can:
- Read 20 minutes everyday with your child or have them read independently
- Talk about what you and your child have read
- Attend Family Nights at MBE
- Talk to your child about their learning in reading and math
- Practice math and reading skills
- Support regular attendance at school

Communication
Our school is committed to keeping families informed.
- Grade level expectations and student progress will be explained at fall and winter conferences
- Classroom teachers will send out weekly updates to families via Synergy Software
